Get everyone tapping their feet with the Florida 9th District American
Legion Symphonic Band & Nostalgia!
One of the largest community bands in the area, the Florida 9th District
American Legion Symphonic Band generates energy and excitement wherever
it performs.
This dynamic group of 60+ very talented volunteer musicians (amateurs
to professionals) represents all types of professions with most of its' members
still working.
The bands' repertoire consists of marches, light classical pieces,
broadway shows, patriotic selections and a sampling of jazz and swing
thrown in for good measure!
Nostalgia
Our 17 piece big band, delights audiences wherever it
appears! Whether it is music of the 40's, or the 50';s, or the
60's; a concert or a dance, everyone can relate to and enjoy the toe-tapping
sounds of this outstanding musical organization! Concerts are scheduled in South Florida from
October to July and both the symphonic band and dance band
are open to performing
at new venues.
